A note about our guests. While we cannot guarantee behaviors, we do want to let all potential adopters know, that we test each of our guests. We test them for food problems, as in do they mind humans or other animals near their food. We test for sensitivity to touching and staring as well as compatibility with other dogs. When find a dog or puppy or have one surrendered to us, we do not place them up for adoption, right away. Instead we give them time to show who they are and what their personality is like.

Our available Guests

Rollie is a 2 year old Rottie/Collie mix, hence his name, Rollie.
He was rescued from a shelter where he was picked up as a stray and had not been claimed and was soon to be euthanized.

He is neutered, up to date on shots, has Ohio dog license. He gets on well with other dogs and people.

We do not have cats and will recommend that he not go to a home with cats.

He will do well with children as he does not jump up or push his way around and is very gentle with people.

He is working on leash manners, and is a fast learner.
His ears and tail are not cropped. His tail is about 10 inches long and makes him stand out from the rest.

Buddy is an approxiamtely three year old, Yellow Lab/Chow mix.
He was found wandering the streets of downtown Toledo. A lost dog was placed and nobody claimed him. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, is house trained. He gets on well, with a proper introduction to other dogs. He cannot be adopted out to a home with cats. He plays too rough with cats.He enjoys being inside more than outside, as we think he was chained up outside and left by himself.

He is very mild mannered and very gentle and affectionate, once he gets to know you. He has one ear up and one ear down, which makes for a silly expression when you try to get his attention. For the most part he is very quiet. He does bark to greet us when we come home or when there is a small critter near our yard. He does enjoy a game of chasing a ball.

He really likes children and teens. He would do well with a couple or family. He is really kinda laid back and prefers to loaf about the house. He is camera shy and getting him to pose for a picture, even for a treat, was not easy.

Sadie is a beautiful blond Cocker Spaniel.
She is up to date on her shots. She is about 3 years old and has been spayed and is house trained.

She weighs about 25lbs.

She is quiet and barks usually only when someone comes to the door and when she wants to go outside.

She is very sweet.

She loves to play and is also very happy to curl up beside someone to watch TV or take a nap.

She is very friendly - she loves everyone, especially children. She is great with other dogs.

Her warm eyes and adorable face will melt all hearts.
