The Angel On Call Dog Rescue, Inc., is a State Of Ohio registered non-profit charity.

The rescue was formed in December, 2007. We were members of other rescues and saw that there was so much need that we decided to start a new rescue and save who we could.

The rescue is dedicated to our mascot, Angel. 

She came to us as we were asked to foster a larger dog. We gladly
accepted her as a foster. When she arrived we were told that she is
a Husky Shepard mix.

We later learned that she is a Wolf Dog, that is, a mix between a Grey Wolf and a German Shepard.

We also learned that when Angel was born, she was one of a litter of eight and the sole survivor. She was born in a very cold winter and it was thought that as she was the sole survivor, she must have had a guardian angel watching over her.

She is a dear friend and teaches us so much and the guests that spend time here before being adopted.

The Angel On Call Dog Rescue is not a shelter, nor do have a facility. The rescue is home based.
