Our available GuestsA note about our guests. While we cannot guarantee behaviors, we do want to let all potential adopters know, that we test each of our guests. We test them for food problems, as in do they mind humans or other animals near their food. We test for sensitivity to touching and staring as well as compatibility with other dogs. When we find a dog or puppy or have one surrendered to us, we do not place them up for adoption, right away. Instead we give them time to show who they are and what their personality is like. The Adoption Process; consists of the adoptive person completing an on-line application, found in each bio. The application is reviewed. We reserve the right to deny an applicant, we typically do not, but if a high activity dog is listed and an applicant wants to leave the dog alone for hours, then maybe, a different should be sought out. Applicants are encouraged to make an informed decision about the breed of dog being adopted. There are so many in shelters that need rescuing. Once the application is verified, we will make an appointment in the applicants home for a meet and greet. All persons listed on the application will need to be present, so we can properly introduce the dog to his or her new home. Because of problems with checks being written, only checks drawn on local bank accounts will be accepted. We do have an adoption contract and the contract also can serve as a receipt. The adoption fee for any of our guests is $150.

He is nine years old and does not show his age. His muscle tone is that of a one year old. He takes off at a moments notice for play, or a walk, or just to be around you. He is neutered, house trained, up to date on vaccines, A fenced yard is a must. He would do well in an apartment because of his size and temperment. He walks well on leash, and enjoys car rides, and visits to parks. He gets on well with other dogs. He may chase cats, so be advised. He is great with kids and is very gentle and enjoys his many toys.
